Gionee Pioneer P2S, a low end Android smartphone has just gone on sale in India. The low-end smartphone market is all spiced up, thanks to the likes of the Moto E, Lumia 520 and Gionee plans to compete with the Pioneer P2S. The Gionee Pioneer P2S has been launched in India at a price of Rs. 6,499.
The affordable smartphone features a 4-inch display of WVGA (800x480p) resolution. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor with 512 MB RAM. There’s 4 GB of internal storage with microSD expansion up to 32 gigs.
The Gionee Pioneer P2S features a 5 MP rear camera with an LED flash and a 0.3 MP front shooter. You can capture selfies on the device by making a V-gesture. There’s Android 4.2 Jelly Bean on-board and a 1600 mAh battery provides the juice to the device.
The device comes with Dual SIM support with dual standby. Connectivity options include 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS.
The Gionee Pioneer P2S comes in a variety of colors including Black, Blue, White, Yellow and Red.
