Huawei Ascend P7 Arsenal Edition smartphone announced

A few months after Huawei unveiled the Huawei Ascend P7, which is said to be one of the best selfie phones, the company has now announced a limited edition Arsenal version of the handset.

Huawei has partnered with the Arsenal Football Club to launch the Huawei Ascend P7 Arsenal Edition smartphone. The limited edition smartphone has the club’s logo etched on the back panel and comes pre-installed with a host of exclusive Arsenal FC features and a number of football apps and games.

The Huawei Ascend P7 Arsenal Edition has the same hardware and specs as of the regular version which includes the 5 inch full HD display along with the quad core HiSilicon Kirin 910T processor. The smartphone is equipped with a rear facing 13 MP camera and a front facing 8 MP camera, both with the Sony BSI sensor.

Speaking about the Huawei Ascend P7 Arsenal Edition, Richard Ren, President, Huawei Consumer Business Group, said, “We are two powerful brands and this makes Huawei a great match for a club with the global stature of Arsenal. We are enjoying a really successful first six months as Arsenal’s Official Smartphone Partner and are excited to announce the exclusive Arsenal smartphone in time for the new Barclay’s Premier League season.”
