The phone which Google especially designed for the emerging and developing markets is going on sale in India on 15th September exclusively on Amazon India.
In a recent Facebook update from the Online Retailer Amazon India’s page, it is quite certain that they are pointing towards the Android One Smartphone from Micromax which First appeared during Google I/O back in June. The phone will be available to purchase starting 15th September from 3:30 AM on Amazon India’s Website. There is no information regarding its exact price, but it would be around $100 as announced earlier.
It will feature a 4.5-inch display, MediaTek processor, dual-SIM card slots and a removable SD card. With Android One, Google want to give taste of Nexus to emerging markets by packing Stock android, Automatic quick Updates and optimized Android Experience for Low Cost Smartphones in the Android One Package.
Previously, Spice teased its Android One smartphone which will go on sale at same time but exclusively on Flipkart.
