As we all are expecting Samsung’s Galaxy range of smartphones to receive the much awaited Android Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade in March at the least, Samsung Israel has surely given out a date to expect it on its official Facebook Page.

GALAXY-s-2
For owners of Samsung Galaxy S II owners in Israel, March 15 is the D-day when they will receive the update. This update is planned for the ones on contract with cellular companies in the country.

Using Google Translate, the post reads as:

We promised we were working on it. You waited patiently. And on 15 March it’ll arrive: Android version 4, ICS, to tens of thousands of GALAXY S II devices purchased from cellular companies in the country or directly from us. We are very excited for the launch, hope you are too :)

This also goes on to give us an expected date for the update to arrive in other countries and region. So March-April is the time frame when all the Galaxy S II devices are expected to run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich thereafter.

Excited?
