Lenovo rolled out Android Marshmallow update for Vibe P1 in India last week, and now, it’s rolling out the Marshmallow update for Vibe S1 as well.
Anuj Sharma, Head of Product and Marketing for Lenovo India tweeted “After K3 note, A7000, Vibe P1 in the last month, Android 6.0 marshmallow OTA now rolling out for @Lenovo_in #VibeS1 . Check now“. The Lenovo Vibe S1 was launched in India last year in November with a price tag of ₹15,999.
The Vibe S1 is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core processor which is paired with 3 GB RAM and Mali-T760 GPU. It boasts off a 5-inch Full-HD display and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. It has an internal storage of 32 GB and the external storage can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. A 2420 mAh battery keeps this package running.
The main highlight of the Vibe S1 are the front facing 8 MP and 2 MP dual cameras. The 2 MP camera does the work of adding depth of field to the photos. The 13 MP rear camera comes with auto-focus and dual-color flash along with PDAF and BSI sensor.
