If you own an HTC One X and have been waiting impatiently for the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean upgrade for your smartphone, then it seems that you won’t have to wait too long.

If a report on Modaco is to be believed, then HTC is planning to roll out the upgrade as early as next month in October.

But the roll out will initially be rolled out for the unlocked international version of the smartphone and later on carrier specific HTC One X’s will be getting the upgrade later on.

With this, HTC is expecting to finish the roll out of the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean upgrade all unlocked and carrier specific devices just in time for the holiday season.

Oh and the source also says that the incremental upgrade to the HTC One X which rumoured to be called HTC One X+ and specs of which have leaked a couple of times is also expected to be unveiled in October itself with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box.
