Add MobiGyaan as a preferred source on GoogleAdobe has expanded its Adobe Firefly creative platform with new AI-powered tools for music, speech, and sound effects generation, making it possible to create audio assets directly within Firefly. The update also brings a free Firefly AI Assistant experience with daily generations and adds Gemini Omni Flash to Firefly’s collection of AI models.
The new audio tools are aimed at creators working on social media content, vlogs, short films, product tutorials, podcasts, and other video projects, allowing them to generate music, voiceovers, and sound effects from prompts and existing content.
Generate Music
Adobe’s Generate Music tool is powered by the Firefly Music Model and can create original music tracks based on the length and mood of a video.
Adobe says the generated tracks are universally licensed and safe for commercial use, making the feature particularly useful for creators and businesses that need music for branded or monetized content without spending time searching for suitable tracks.
Generate Speech
The Generate Speech tool converts written scripts into AI-generated voiceovers using Adobe’s Firefly Speech Model.
Users can control elements such as:
- Voice
- Pacing
- Emotion
Adobe also allows users to choose ElevenLabs for speech generation within Firefly.
Generate Sound Effects
Adobe Firefly’s Generate Sound Effects tool can create custom audio effects based on the action, timing, and energy of the content.
This can be used to add sounds to scenes where suitable audio isn’t available, helping creators build more complete soundtracks for videos directly within their editing workflow.
Adobe Firefly AI Assistant Gets More Creative Skills
Adobe has also expanded Adobe Firefly AI Assistant, which was introduced in beta earlier this year.
New creative skills include Create Storyboard and Create Brand Kit. The assistant can also create branded mockups, generate storyboards before production, and batch edit dozens of images.
Adobe is also introducing a free Firefly AI Assistant experience with daily generations, allowing users to access the AI-powered creative tools without requiring a paid plan.
Gemini Omni Flash Comes to Adobe Firefly
Adobe has added Gemini Omni Flash to the AI models available through Firefly. Firefly already brings together models from companies including Google, Kling AI, Luma AI, OpenAI, Runway, and others.
Gemini Omni Flash supports video, audio, and image inputs alongside text prompts, allowing creators to use different types of content when developing ideas and producing creative assets.
Adobe says this can help turn an initial idea into a storyboarded first cut by combining multiple forms of input.
AI Audio Tools Availability
Adobe’s Generate Music, Generate Speech, and Generate Sound Effects tools are now generally available in Firefly. The free Firefly AI Assistant experience with daily generations and Gemini Omni Flash are also available.
