Add MobiGyaan as a preferred source on GoogleAi+ Smartphone has revealed the Ai+ Nova 2 Power 5G, its latest addition to the Nova 2 series, ahead of its expected September launch. The company has previewed the smartphone’s MediaTek Dimensity 7100 SoC, NxtQuantum OS, dual-gradient design, and two color options through its Project Open Review 2.0 initiative.
The latest Open Review programme expands Ai+’s pre-release testing approach by giving early access not only to tech creators, reviewers, journalists, and enthusiasts, but also to ethical hackers for independent testing of the device’s security, performance, thermal management, and software stability.
Project Open Review 2.0
Ai+ says its first Project Open Review programme received more than 700 registrations. With Open Review 2.0, the company is expanding the testing pool and allowing participants to evaluate the Nova 2 Power 5G before its wider consumer launch.
Participants will be able to conduct independent, unscripted testing across areas such as:
- Device security and vulnerability testing
- Thermal management
- Everyday performance and responsiveness
- Software stability
- Battery endurance
The programme is intended to provide feedback from independent testers before the smartphone reaches the wider market.
MediaTek Dimensity 7100 | NxtQuantum OS | Dual-Gradient Design
The Nova 2 Power 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100, built using a 6nm process. Ai+ says the chipset is designed to balance processing performance and power efficiency.
The smartphone will run NxtQuantum OS, Ai+’s proprietary operating system.
Further hardware specifications, including the display, cameras, memory, storage, battery, and charging details, have not yet been announced.
The Nova 2 Power 5G features a dual-gradient rear design that combines contrasting colours across the back panel. It will be available in two finishes:
- Golden Blue Fusion: Muted gold transitioning into a deep navy blue
- Blue Fusion: Ocean blue transitioning into a sunset orange
