Airtel has announced the launch of its 4G LTE services in Kharagpur in West Bengal, making it the second city in Bengal to have 4G services. The services can be availed over a range of devices including mobile phones, dongles, 4G hotspots and CPEs (customer premise equipment). Subscribers with a 4G enabled smartphone can upgrade to a 4G SIM at their nearest Airtel retail touch points.

Speaking about the launch, Ravindra Singh Negi, CEO – West Bengal & Odisha, Bharti Airtel Limited, said, “We are delighted to roll out our 4G services in Kharagpur. Customers can look forward to a superlative smartphone experience with Airtel 4G and enjoy superfast access speeds. We invite all data savvy customers to upgrade to Airtel 4G and be a part of India’s widest 4G network.”
