While we just saw the refreshed version of the Amazon Kindle Fire HD along with the two new Fire HDX tablets, the existing Kindle Fire HD just saw a huge price cut in India.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HD has received a price cut of Rs. 4000 on the occasion of the announcement of the refreshed version of the Kindle Fire HD. The tablet was priced at Rs. 15999 for the 16 GB version, however now the device is available at Rs. 11999. Meanwhile the 32 GB version is now priced at Rs. 15999.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HD, which except for the processor is fairly similar to the refreshed version, has a 7 inch display with a 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. The device is powered by a dual core processor from Texas Instruments running at 1.2 GHz along with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. The tablet is also equipped with a front-facing HD camera.
