According to sources, owners of the LG G2 in Korea have started receiving the Android v4.4 KitKat update over the air. The update package, which is 637.39 MB, is being pushed out sequentially to the users. Following Korea, users of the LG G2 in Canada would receive the update in January next year.

The users of the LG G2 in India might have to wait a while as the Android KitKat update for the region is scheduled only in end of February 2014. Considering the success of the device worldwide, it is a little difficult for the company to pick preference for the update. Meanwhile the successor of the device, the LG G3 has already leaked.
