While we were expecting the Xolo One to receive the Android Lollipop update this week, the company has now officially released the update, making it one of the earliest vendors to release the update.
Xolo has announced the release of the Android 5.0 Lollipop version for the Xolo One, thus becoming the first Indian company to roll out the Lollipop update for its smartphones. The update, which measures about 557 MB, is currently available on the official Xolo software updates page and has to be loaded on to the smartphone manually.
The Android 5.0 Lollipop version for the Xolo One adds the Material Design with bold, colourful, and responsive UI, better notifications, battery saver feature, better security including Android Smart Lock and New Quick Settings. The update is expected to be pushed to the device Over-the-Air (OTA) very soon.
