Angry Birds reaches 500 million downloads

Rovio’s famous multi-platform game, Angry Birds has crossed more than 500 million downloads on various platform. With each new release, the stats are only going up everyday. So far Angry Birds players have played a total of 200,000 years of the game and also spend at least 300 million minutes playing the game daily. Until now more than 26 billion levels of the game have been played with 400 billion Angry Birds launched. Also more than 44 billion Stars have been collected by players.

Rovio has till now released Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio on all major Smartphones platforms also with PC and Mac. Angry Birds is also available on the Chrome Browser. Also during the recent Nokia World event in London, Nokia announced that Angry Birds will soon be available on the S40 platform with the newly launched Nokia Asha 300 and 303. This decision will indeed expand its reach to a new market and there seems to be no stopping for the game in the coming times.
