Apple iPhone 5 launched in India; starts at Rs.45,500 for 16GB version

It is finally here! After loads of rumours about the launch date of the iPhone 5 in India, Apple has gone ahead and announced the launch of its iPhone 5 in India yesterday and this should come as a good news for all the people who have been waiting for the smartphone to arrive.


The iPhone 5 arrives with a larger 4-inch screen, which was a much needed change as the smartphones of competitors were reaching a screen size of up to 5-inches.

The Apple iPhone 5 arrives with the A6 chipset and a dual-core processor while the Retina display of the smartphone has remains unchanged and provides crisp viewing experience.

Apple has price the iPhone 5 in India starting at Rs 45,500 for the 16 GB version, Rs 52,500 for 32 GB and Rs 59,500 for 64 GB. Bharti Airtel has announced the plans that it would offer iPhone 5 users which offers bundled usage of Voice calls, SMSes and 3G data.
