Even though Apple dazzled everyone at the iPhone 7 launch with the glossy Jet Black variant, the company has now launched yet another (Product) Red colour iPhone 7 variant to support the HIV/AIDS cause.
Apple has announced the (Product) Red colour variant of the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus with a shiny red aluminium finish. The launch marks the 10-year partnership with (Red), which supports HIV/AIDS programs.
The iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus (Product) Red colour variants would be available in 128 GB and 256 GB variants and are priced starting at $749. The handsets are also expected to be launched in India in April.
Speaking about the launch, Tim Cook, CEO, Apple, said, “Since we began working with (RED) 10 years ago, our customers have made a significant impact in fighting the spread of AIDS through the purchase of our products, from the original iPod nano (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition all the way to today’s line-up of Beats products and accessories for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.
