Add MobiGyaan as a preferred source on GoogleApple has sent invitations for an in-person media event scheduled for October 28 in Los Angeles. The event carries the tagline “Pro and Tell” and follows the company’s 13th October announcement event. The gathering is expected to include hands-on access to new devices alongside official announcements. While Apple has not confirmed the products planned for the event, reports point to updates across the MacBook Pro, iMac, and iPad mini lineups.

Apple Pro and Tell 28th October 2026

Touchscreen OLED MacBook Pro

One of the anticipated announcements is Apple’s first MacBook Pro with a touchscreen OLED display. Reports suggest the device could be available in 14-inch and 16-inch configurations, replacing the mini-LED panels used in current high-end models.

Expected changes include:

  • Touchscreen macOS interface: Touch input could introduce a new interaction method to the MacBook Pro lineup, which has traditionally relied on a trackpad and mouse.
  • OLED display and Dynamic Island: OLED technology is expected to deliver deeper blacks and higher contrast. Reports also point to a possible Dynamic Island interface adapted for the laptop display.
  • Thinner and lighter design: The use of OLED panels is reportedly expected to contribute to a thinner and lighter chassis.

Apple has not confirmed these display or design changes.

M6 MacBook Pro & iMac Updates

Apple is also expected to expand its next-generation M6 chip family across its Mac lineup.

The entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro is reportedly set to receive the standard M6 chip while retaining the existing external design. The update is expected to focus on processing performance and energy efficiency rather than a major chassis redesign.

The 24-inch iMac is also expected to transition to the M6 platform. The desktop is reportedly set to retain its current overall design, with potential new color options alongside internal hardware upgrades.

Redesigned iPad Mini

The iPad mini could also receive a hardware refresh, with reports pointing to an OLED display replacing the existing screen technology.

Other expected changes include a front-facing camera repositioned for landscape use, upgraded speakers, and improved durability. The tablet is also expected to feature an updated A-series chip.

Apple has not confirmed the iPad mini’s specifications or whether the device will be announced at the October 28 event.
