The service expands the company’s movie and TV discovery platform into direct content streaming, targeting its global user base of approximately 50 million people.
JustWatch TV is initially available across 11 markets: the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Spain, Australia, and New Zealand. The service supports desktop, mobile, and connected-TV applications.

JustWatch TV: Free Streaming, Rentals, and Subscription Options
JustWatch TV introduces three viewing options designed around different content access models.
- JustWatch TV Free: A free, ad-supported selection of curated movies and television titles.
- JustWatch TV Store: A transactional video-on-demand (TVOD) storefront offering rentals of recent releases and catalog titles.
- JustWatch TV Plus: A subscription tier offering ad-free access to an expanded content catalog, alongside premium discovery tools and platform features.
JustWatch TV launches with approximately 30 content partners, with further agreements in development. New distribution partners include Cineverse in the United States, Leonine Studios in Germany, SND in France, and Altitude in the United Kingdom.
These partners join an existing roster that includes Paramount, New Regency, Fremantle, Bleecker Street, and Vortex Media.
The platform combines editorial recommendations, including its proprietary “Why to Watch” segments, with predictive analytics based on behavioral data gathered through its discovery guide. According to the company, these insights help assess viewing demand and curate a library intended to complement existing subscription streaming services.
The launch also expands JustWatch’s role in the streaming and advertising ecosystem. Its advertising division, JustWatch Media, manages digital campaign planning and media buying across platforms such as YouTube, Meta, and TikTok for film studios, distributors, streaming services, and advertising agencies.
By combining title searches and watchlist activity with on-platform playback, JustWatch expects to gain additional insight into viewer behavior. The company plans to use these insights to support its commercial marketing products.
JustWatch described the launch across 11 markets as an initial phase, with further work planned on content partnerships, catalog expansion, platform features, and international distribution.
