Just as reported last week, Asus has officially launched the dual SIM variant of the Asus FonePad 7 in India.
The Asus FonePad 7, which is sized like a tablet yet is still considered to be a smartphone, with dual SIM support has been officially launched in India. The device is equipped with a 7 inch HD LED Backlit IPS display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core Intel Atom Z2520 processor along with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
The Asus FonePad 7 Dual SIM sports a 5 MP rear facing camera along with a front facing 1.2 MP camera. Its 3950 mAh battery is said to last for 28 hours of talk time or 10 hours of active use. Unlike the regular version, the dual SIM variant runs on the Android v4.3 with a UI layer of Asus. The device, which is available in grey and white colours, is priced at Rs. 12999.
