ASUS India has confirmed that the ASUS Pad (T3201) will launch in India on 6th August, marking the company’s return to the Android tablet market. Introduced globally last month, the tablet combines a 12.2-inch 2.8K 144 Hz OLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 8300 SoC, a 9,000 mAh battery, Android 16, and more. The ASUS Pad (T3201) is designed for entertainment, productivity, and creative workflows while maintaining a relatively portable form factor.

12.2-inch OLED Display | 2.8K Resolution | 144 Hz Refresh Rate
The ASUS Pad features a 12.2-inch OLED display with a 2.8K resolution (2,800 x 1,840 pixels), a 144 Hz refresh rate, and a 3:2 aspect ratio. The panel offers 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and a 92% screen-to-body ratio.
The display offers 600 nits of typical brightness and can reach up to 2,000 nits of HDR peak brightness. It also carries TÜV Rheinland Low Flicker and Low Blue Light certifications for improved eye comfort during extended usage.
For audio, the tablet features four speakers with Dolby Atmos support for a more immersive multimedia experience.

Dimensity 8300 | 8 GB LPDDR5X RAM | 9,000 mAh Battery
The ASUS Pad is powered by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8300 octa-core SoC, paired with the Mali-G615 GPU. It comes with 8 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Storage can be expanded by up to 1 TB using a microSD card, providing additional space for media, applications, and documents.
The tablet packs a 9,000 mAh battery with support for 45W charging. According to ASUS, the battery can reach 50% charge in approximately 30 minutes using the included 45W USB Type-C power adapter.
Despite the large battery and 12.2-inch display, the tablet measures 6.5 mm in thickness and weighs 523 grams. ASUS also includes a protective folio case that can be folded to provide four different viewing angles.
Android 16 | ASUS Pen 2.0 Stylus
The tablet runs Android 16 out of the box and supports Google’s Circle to Search feature, allowing users to search for content displayed on the screen without leaving the current application.
ASUS has also integrated GlideX for cross-device workflows and file sharing between the tablet and compatible Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS devices through wired or wireless connections.
For productivity and creative tasks, the ASUS Pad supports the ASUS Pen 2.0 stylus and compatible Bluetooth keyboards.
