With every passing day, new details and teasers from leakster and the companies are flowing in as we are nearing this year’s Mobile World Congress which is scheduled to be held next week. And today Asus has released a video wherein the company teases a “Metallic Miracle”

The video features a large alien spaceship landing on the top of a unfinished church in Barcelona followed by words like “Ultimate craftsmanship. Today” which is followed by a message wherein the company invites us to embrace the metallic miracle.

Now, if we remind to a few weeks back, an alleged image of the upcoming ASUS FonePad leaked online which gave us a teasing look at the metallic back of the device and also let us know that it was powered on Intel’s processor which goes on to indicate that ASUS might unveil the FonePad at the MWC. Also, the description of the video on the YouTube read, “when Pad and Phone come together,” which again hints at the ASUS FonePad.

The specifications of the ASUS FonePad are not anything to excite us much but as per the previous leaks and rumors, the device might pack in:

  • 7-inch IPS display with 1280 x 800 resolution
  • 1.2 GHz Intel Atom Z2420 Processor
  • 1GB RAM
  • 16GB internal storage
  • 3.2 Megapixels rear camera
  • 1.2 megapixels front facing camera
  • Google Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
  • 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth
  • 4270 mAh battery
