With quite a few new handset makers bringing their smartphones to the Indian market given the increasing demand, Asus too has joined the league by launching the Asus Zenfone 5 in the country.
Asus has announced the launch of the Asus Zenfone 5 in India. The device has a 5 inch display with Corning gorilla glass 3 protection and resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a dual core Intel Atom processor clocked at 2 GHz along with 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
The Asus Zenfone 5 has an 8 MP rear facing auto focus camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 2 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Jelly Bean version and can be upgraded to the latest Android KitKat version. The handset is available in Charcoal Black, Pearl White, Cherry Red, Twilight Purple and Champagne Gold colour options and is priced at Rs. 12999.
