At Ather Community Day 2026, Ather Energy unveiled its latest electric scooter, the Ather Konarc, built on the company’s new modular EL platform. Starting at an introductory price of ₹99,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), the Ather Konarc introduces several new features, including a steel unibody metal body, 14-inch front wheel, combined charging technology, and rider-assist features.
Performance & Powertrain
The Ather Konarc offers a top speed of 70 km/h across the lineup. The 0 – 40 km/h acceleration time is rated at 4.7 seconds, while the base 100 km model takes 5.0 seconds.
The IP67-rated PMSM motor produces up to 4.7 kW peak power and 16 Nm torque, while the base variant produces 4 kW. Riding modes include SmartEco, Eco, and Power, with gradeability of up to 16 degrees.
Chassis & Ride Quality
The Konarc uses a steel unibody designed to improve ruggedness and road confidence. It gets a 14-inch front alloy wheel with a 90/90-14 tyre and a 12-inch rear wheel with a 100/90-12 tyre.
The long-travel suspension setup provides 90 mm of front travel and a 100 mm rear suspension stroke. The scooter has a 1,352 mm wheelbase for improved high-speed stability.
Braking is handled by a 220 mm front disc on S variants and a front drum on the 100 km base variant, along with a 130 mm rear drum. Ather’s AEBS (Advanced Electronic Braking System) combines mechanical and electronic braking to reduce stopping distances and help prevent wheel lockups.
Charging & Battery
The Konarc comes with a built-in 450W onboard charger, allowing riders to carry a standard charging cable instead of a separate charging brick. Its combined charging architecture allows an external portable charger to work alongside the onboard charger for charging speeds of more than 900W at home.
Through Ather Grid fast charging, the scooter can add up to 15 km of range in 10 minutes at more than 6,000 public fast chargers.
The new IP67-rated Bedrock battery features 5x faster active cell balancing and BreachSense damage detection, which can detect damage in under 24 hours. Ather is also offering an extended 10-year / 100,000 km battery warranty option.
Smart Features & Convenience
The S variants feature a 7-inch DeepView display, while the base variant gets a 4.2-inch display. The Magic Key keyless system supports Smart Wake, walk-away auto-lock, proximity-based motor arming, and offline starting using a code from the app.
The scooter also gets 31-litre underseat storage with AutoPop, which can automatically open using a KeyFob button or underseat touch switch.
AirWalk Assist uses sensors to provide motor assistance while pushing or pulling the scooter, making tight parking and manoeuvring easier. Other features include a cushioned pillion grab rail, optional LoungeBack backrest, integrated center stand, and Ather True Health for monitoring component health and degradation through the Ather app.

The Konarc S 125 KM and S 161 KM will be available from September 2026; Konarc 100 KM from Q1 2027; Konarc S 200 KM from Q3 2027; and Konarc Z variants from Q2 2027.
