The aim of the Call-me-back service is to allow you to stay connected with your family and friends at moments when you run out of balance.

There are times when prepaid users do not have the balance to even give a missed call to their loved one and in such a case, they can make use of this service using which you can send an SMS to any Airtel mobile, prepaid or postpaid, asking them to call back.

Prepaid Airtel users only have to SMS in the format: CALL <space> <airtel mobile number you want to speak to> and send to across 121. Once the SMS is sent from your side, your loved ones will receive an SMS on your behalf as “Please call me back. Thank You.”

This service can be availed when the balance in the customer’s prepaid account is below Re.1 and can be used upto 3 times in a day.
