FBI child id
The FBI has unveiled a Child ID app available for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. Child ID allows you to record information about each of your children, including name, nicknames, address, DOB, ethnicity, and “identifying characteristics.”

You can also take a picture of each child from within the app; currently the app won’t allow end users to use already stored pictures on their iPhone, but the FBI’s site said this is a feature that is coming in the future. The app has a special tab that allows you to quickly email your child’s information to authorities. You can also call 911 from the app, and also the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. The app also contains safety tips for parents and a link to the National Child Identification Program, which sells a kit that can be used to collect DNA samples and fingerprints.
