Flipkart recently entered the tablet businesss with its own Digiflip brand of tablets. Now the company seems to be gearing up for another tablet.
Flipkart has sent out press invites for an upcoming launch event scheduled for August 27. The invite isn’t that cryptic (with tablets in vial) and clearly shows a tablet device and reads “What’s in red, grey, pearl white and blue? Wait till this 27th to get a better clue.” Interestingly, Flipkart seems to have partnered with Intel for this tablet.
While there is not much info available about the tablet, if the images represents the actual tablet, then we might see a massive slate with maybe a 10.1 inch display. But with Flipkart working well with the pricing of its tablet range, this could be well received especially if there is an Intel processor powering it. We’ll get you more details on the 27th.
