We recently came across leaked specs of the Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom and now, we have another new report, which confirms the specs. We also get to know new details of the upcoming camera centric device.

The new leak makes us a bit nostalgic, considering the specs are written on a piece of paper but the source is said to be reliable so we’ll go ahead and trust it. The leak confirms the specs we saw last week but for the processor. The new leak suggests that the Galaxy S5 Zoom will feature a quad-core 1.6 GHz processor, which contradicts the previous leak of a Exynos 5 Hexa processor.

Other specs are the same, a 20 MP camera with OIS, Xenon flash and 10x optical zoom. The device will supposedly feature a 4.8-inch HD (1280×720) display, Android 4.4 KitKat, 2GB RAM.

The most important revelation the report reveals is that the Galaxy S5 Zoom will fix the biggest wrong of its predecessor, the S4 Zoom, that is the size. Reportedly, the Galaxy S5 Zoom will feature a slimmer design with no protruding camera.

The Galaxy S5 Zoom seems like more than a worthy upgrade from the S4 Zoom and as per rumors, the device will go official in a couple of weeks. As always, we’ll bring you all the details when the device gets unveiled.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom Specs:

  • 4.8-inch display
  • HD (1280x720p) resolution
  • Quad-core 1.6GHz processor
  • 2GB RAM
  • microSD expansion
  • Android 4.4 KitKat
  • 20 MP CMOS camera
  • Optical Image Stabilization, Xenon flash
  • 10x Optical Zoom
  • 2 MP front facing camera
