While we just had mentioned reports about Reliance offering the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C on a contract in India, the company has announced the offering.
Reliance Communications has announced an on contract offering of the Apple iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C, which are scheduled to be launched in India today. As per the offer, customers purchasing the Apple iPhone 5S on contract from Reliance would have to pay Rs. 2999 per month for the contract period of two years. Similarly, customers purchasing the Apple iPhone 5C would have to pay Rs. 2599 per month for the same contract period.
The monthly on contract rental includes the handset cost and a package of unlimited local and STD calls, SMS’, national roaming and 3G data for the contract period. Further, the customer is not required to make any down-payment for the device and would neither receive any usage bill for the period of two years.
