Gionee is apparently taking special interest in the India smartphone market. Just after launching the ELife 5.5, the Gionee Pioneer P4 is now listed on the company website in India.
The Gionee Pioneer P4 was listed on the Gionee India website and quickly pulled off. However, the smartphone is now available on eBay for Rs. 9800. However we expect the handset to be priced in the Rs. 8000 range at the time of launch. The device has a 4.5 inch display with resolution of 854 x 480 pixels.
The Gionee Pioneer P4 is powered by a quad core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.3 GHz along with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. The device is equipped with a 5 MP rear facing camera and a front facing 2 MP camera. While there is no official confirmation, we expect the handset to be launched this month.
