Add MobiGyaan as a preferred source on GoogleGoogle has announced new benefits and pricing changes for its Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra subscription plans at Google I/O 2026. The update adds YouTube Premium perks, introduces revised pricing tiers, and replaces traditional prompt limits with a new compute-based usage system. Google confirmed that YouTube Premium is now included individually with AI Ultra plans. Meanwhile, selected countries will also see YouTube Premium Lite bundled with Google AI Pro at no additional cost. Earlier this year, Google had already integrated Google Developer Program premium benefits into Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra subscriptions. The latest update further expands those offerings.

YouTube Premium Lite Benefits
The Lite plan includes:
- Ad-free viewing on most videos
- Offline video downloads
- Background Play support
This allows users to continue listening with the screen locked and use other apps while the audio keeps playing.

New AI Subscription Tiers
Google has also restructured its AI subscription lineup to better target Developers, Technical users, Creators, and Power users.
AI Ultra $100 Plan
Google introduced a new:
- $100/month AI Ultra tier (₹6,500 in India)
Key benefits include:
- 5x higher usage limits compared to AI Pro
- Gemini 3.5 Flash integration
- Priority access to Google Antigravity
- 20 TB cloud storage
- Individual YouTube Premium subscription
AI Ultra $200 Plan
Google also reduced pricing for its highest-end tier:
- From $250/month to $200/month (₹19,500 in India)
This top-tier plan continues to offer:
- 20x higher usage limits compared to the standard plan
- Full premium AI access
- Advanced Gemini capabilities

Shift to Compute-Based Usage Limits
One of the biggest changes is Google’s move away from fixed daily prompt limits. The company is replacing them with compute-based allocation limits. Under this system, simple text queries consume less quota, and complex coding or video-generation tasks consume more compute. Google says limits will refresh every five hours and continue until users reach their weekly quota. If users exceed limits on frontier models, Gemini automatically switches to smaller high-speed models.
Google also confirmed that Pay-as-you-go AI credits for Google Antigravity, Google Flow, and the Gemini app will be available for additional usage.
Rollout Timeline
Google says the updated AI subscription benefits, YouTube Premium integrations, pricing structure, and compute-based system are beginning to roll out immediately, with wider global availability planned over the coming weeks.
