While Google has been leniently offering an approximate 2 hour refund window for purchases of apps and games, the company has now officially announced the refund period.
Google has updated their refund policy for paid apps and games on the Google Play support site now offering a 2 hour refund window. The paid apps and games would show a Refund button for a duration of two hours after which the purchase cannot be refunded directly.
Currently the official duration for refund was just 15 minutes which was said to be way too less to explore the newly purchased app or game. To request a refund on the purchase, users need to go to My orders in the Google Play store and select the item to be returned. Then choose Report a problem and select the refund option. Mention a brief description of the problem and submit for refunds.
