With the Google Nexus 4 being a hot favourite of the developer crowd and other Android enthusiast, Google has announced a heavy 25 percent price cut.

As per the tweet from the official Google Play account, it was mentioned that the price of the Nexus 4 has been lowered. The tweet claimed that you could get the device at a discount of 25 percent or more in Australia, Canada, Germany, Spain, Korea, US, UK. The discount is offered on the unlocked 8 GB and 16 GB variants of the Nexus 4.

With a discount of up to $100, the 8 GB Nexus 4 now costs $199 and the 16 GB Nexus 4 is priced at $249. Unfortunately, as the Nexus 4 is not yet listed on the Indian Google Play Store, the offer is not available in India. The price cut, however, points towards the entry of the next Nexus device, which is rumoured to be either from LG or Motorola.
