Google & Samsung team up to fight Apple’s lawsuits

So who is not fed up of Apple taking its major competitors in the court of law for patent infringements? We definitely are and it seems that finally Samsung and Google are also done with all of Apple’s lawsuits.
Apple-Google-Samsung
And according to a report published in The Korean Times, Samsung and Google have come together and are readying a “game plan” to counter Apple.

Just a couple of days back, we saw Apple successful win an injunction on Samsung’s Galaxy Nexus and getting it banned from sales in the US for alleged patent infringement. So it seems that Google has finally decided to fight Apple by supporting Samsung as the Galaxy Nexus is a pure Android smartphone.

A Samsung source told the publication,

It’s too early to comment on our game plan (with Google) in the legal battle; but we will do our best to get more royalties from Apple, which has benefited from our technology. The fight is becoming more dramatic and the possibility of a truce in the form of a cross-licensing deal, seems to be becoming likely.

So probably it would all end up as a negotiation with a cross-licensing deal which would be great for all the companies concerned and also the consumers who wait for their beloved devices to launch and have to suffer as the devices are taken off the shelves after court’s orders.

What do you feel? Will a cross-licensing deal solve it all between the tech giants all around the world?
