As we had expected HTC has along with the HTC 8X also announced the launch of its little brother, the Windows Phone 8S by HTC aka HTC 8S.
We were expecting the company to launch three smartphones all together but we got to the launch of the HTC 8X and HTC 8S. The HTC 8S is a mid-range smartphone and arrives with some decent specs.
HTC 8S packs in the following features and specifications:

- WVGA display resolution
- Gorilla Glass Protection
- Dual-tone Polycarbonate Unibody design
- 1 GHz Dual-Core Snapdragon S4 processor
- 512 MB RAM
- 5 MP camera on the back
- 4 GB internal memory
- Expandable to 32 GB via microSD card
- Windows Phone 8 OS
- Beats Audio Enhancement
- 1700 mAh battery
The Windows Phone 8S by HTC or the HTC 8S will go on to arrive in a variety of colours namely Domino, Fiesta Red, Atlantic Blue and High-Rise Grey which are again region dependant like the HTC 8X.
No details on the pricing of the device have been revealed by HTC but the device would go on same sometime in November along with the big brother, HTC 8X.
