While HTC had announced the Desire 728 in China last month, the company now seems to be gearing up to launch the HTC Desire 728G in India.
According to sources, the HTC Desire 728G, which is a 3G variant of the Desire 728, is launching in India soon. The device has a 5.5 inch IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa core MediaTek processor with 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. The handset would have dual SIM support and may also have GSM + CDMA option.
The HTC Desire 728G has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Lollipop version with a decent 2800 mAh battery. The handset is priced at Rs. 17990 and is expected to be officially announced in the next few weeks.
