HTC launches the HTC Explorer in India

HTC Corporation today unveiled the HTC Explorer. It is said to be one the most affordable smartphones by HTC and the latest addition to its global portfolio of devices. The device has been launched in India first and will be eventually launched in other countries soon.
The Explorer will be boasting Android 2.3 Gingerbread with HTC Sense 3.5, a 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen, 600MHz processor and 512MB of RAM, 3G, 3MP camera, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, microUSB port, a microSD card slot and a 1,230 mAh battery.

The HTC Explorer will be available across key markets in EMEA and Asia from Q4 2011 in Metallic Black, Active Black and Metallic Navy. Customers will be also able to customize their HTC Explorer with a range of optional back covers including Metallic Blue, Metallic Orange, Metallic White and Metallic Purple at a price of Rs. 11 ,650.
