After quietly revealing the Huawei P9 Lite, Huawei has now officially announced the mini variant of the flagship Huawei P9.
Huawei has announced the launch of the Huawei P9 Lite, which is the budget variant of the Huawei P9 with a fingerprint scanner on the back. The device has a 5.2 inch IPS display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the octa core Kirin 650 processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The Huawei P9 Lite has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Marshmallow version with a 3000 mAh battery. The phone has dual SIM support with 4G LTE connectivity. The handset is available in Silver and Gold colour options. The device would go on sale in May priced at €299 (approx. Rs. 22000).
