Back in October we saw Sony Ericsson announce that Android 4.0 Ice Cream will arrive on Xperia range of devices and now the company has announced the approximate release date of the upgrade.
Sony Ericsson has now confirmed that by the end of March-April beginning 2012, Xperia device which include Xperia arc S, Xperia neo V and Xperia ray will receive the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade. Soon after that, starting from end April-early May devices including Xperia arc, Xperia PLAY, Xperia neo, Xperia mini and mini pro, Xperia pro, Xperia active and also Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman will get their ICS upgrades.
The update will be released in a phased manner and devices will receive the update at different times. So come March-April 2012 and all Sony Ericsson Xperia device owners will get to taste some Ice Cream Sandwich.
