Idea announces 2G trial pack with 500 MB for Rs. 25

Trying to increase the number of people accessing internet using their mobile phones, Idea Cellular has launched the internet trail pack for first time GPRS users.

Idea Cellular announced the 2G Trial Pack for their prepaid subscribers in the Delhi circle. The GPRS pack priced at Rs. 25 would give users 500 MB of 2G data for seven days. However this is a one-time pack and can be activated on a single connection just once. To activate the pack, prepaid users have to dial *150*222#. Vodafone had launched a similar pack earlier for both 2G and 3G services.

Speaking about the new packs, Sanjeev Govil, Chief Operating Officer – Delhi, IDEA Cellular, said, “At Idea, we have always believed in providing more value to our subscribers, through innovative offers, products and schemes. Through these trial packs we entail to provide internet experience to our customers at a very affordable price. We are sure that these internet packs would be well received and come in quite handy to our customers.”
