While Vodafone has gone all out to counter Reliance Jio’s new Jio Prime service, Idea Cellular has now launched a similar plan.
Idea Cellular has reportedly introduced a new plan priced at Rs. 348 to counter Reliance Jio’s Prime service. The pack is said to offer unlimited free local and STD voice calls to any network across India. Additionally, Vodafone has apparently bundled data with the pack. The pack is valid for 28 days.
Interestingly, Vodafone is offering customers availing the new Rs. 346 plan with 500 MB of 3G/4G data for free per day for the duration of the pack. This essentially means that the subscriber can avail 14 GB of data. However, the plan is currently available to few prepaid customers as it is a segmented offer, which is being promoted to non-data users of certain type using 4G handsets.
