Idea launches new Tariff Plans for Chennai and Tamil Nadu

idea tamil nadu new tariffIdea has launched new tariff plans for mobile users in the Chennai and Tamil Nadu. As per the new offers, existing and new subscribers of IDEA can now make local calls to all mobile and landline networks at just 50 paise per minute, and all India STD at 75 paise per minute.

To avail the special tariff benefits, new prepaid subscribers of IDEA can purchase two new tariff vouchers priced at Rs. 37 and Rs. 95 offering a talk time of Rs. 15 and 80, respectively. Both these vouchers come with lifetime validity and offer local call rate at 50 paisa, and STD at 75 paisa on all mobile and fixed line networks. However, regular STD tariff of Rs. 1.50 per minute will apply for the first minute of the first STD call of the day. Further, subscribers of Rs. 95 voucher will get an additional benefit of 100 free local SMS per day. The first 2 local SMS of the day will be charged at 50 paisa to avail 100 free SMS of the day.

Existing IDEA subscribers can avail these special call rates by purchasing a voucher priced at Rs. 41 which comes with one year validity.

IDEA has also introduced an innovative STD calling voucher priced at just Rs. 26 which offers a call rate of 50 paisa per minute on any mobile or landline network within South India including the states of Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, besides Tamil Nadu. IDEA prepaid subscribers can call anywhere in these states at 50 paisa per minute up to 300 minutes of usage, post which the regular STD call rates of the respective plans will apply.
