What is the AI Creator Label?
The new label allows creators to clearly disclose AI usage at the account level, going beyond individual post labels.
- Designed for accounts that regularly use AI tools
- Works alongside existing “AI info” labels
- Helps users understand how content is created

Where the Label Appears
When enabled, the “AI creator” label will be visible across multiple areas:
- Profile bio
- Below the username on posts and Reels
- Across Feed, Reels, and Explore
If a specific post also has an AI info label, that label takes priority over the account-level tag.

How Creators Can Enable It
Instagram is allowing creators to manually turn on the feature:
- Go to profile
- Tap Edit Profile
- Enable the AI creator toggle
Once activated, the label is automatically applied across content.

Impact on Reach and Algorithm
Instagram has clarified that:
- The label does not affect reach or ranking
- Content distribution remains unchanged
- It is purely for transparency purposes

Availability
- Currently in testing phase
- Not available to all users yet
- Wider rollout expected in the coming weeks
