A new handset has been launched by INTEX mobiles called the Tri.Do which is a triple-SIM handset. The handset is targeted towards people who have more than one mobile phone numbers and don’t like the hassles of carrying more than one handset.
The Tri.Do supports 2 GSM SIMs and 1 CDMA SIM and enables the user to carry up to three mobile numbesr in a single handset. This is INTEX’s 3rd such handset that supports 3 SIMs and its features include a 2.2 inch TFT display, a 1.3 MP camera, Bluetooth, torch-light, wireless FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, phonebook with 1000 entries and dual memory card slots up to 16 GB each. Other features include Answering Machine, Mobile Tracker, Auto Call Record, Google, MSN, Yahoo, Facebook and Games.
Commenting on the launch, Mr. Rajendra Gupta, GM- Telecom, INTEX Technologies said, “The multi-SIM segment is increasingly grabbing a major pie of the total market reflecting a huge demand and utility. Having sensed this quite early, INTEX was the first one to introduce a Triple-SIM phone and now it aims to build on the concept by expanding products offering convenience and utility at a highly affordable price.”
The handset is priced at Rs. 3,750/- and it is available at more than 15,000 distributors and resellers outlets, 80 INTEX SQUARES (exclusive retail stores) and on Home Shop 18, the popular TV shopping channel.
