Alongside the iVoomi Me 1+, the company also launched its ultra-affordable smartphone iVoomi Me 1 priced as low as ₹3,999. The key highlights of the handset are the long lasting 3,000 mAh battery, 4G LTE network support, and upgradeable to Android 7 Nougat. Let’s dig in more about the iVoomi Me 1.

Like its upper variant, the iVoomi Me 1 also uses a 5-inch HD display with 2.5D curved glass. As expected, the design is plastic and the built quality is mediocre. The back has a pleasing rubberized material which gives a good grip. We got a Black color variant.
Do not expect any decent Snapdragon CPUs in this range, the iVoomi Me 1 is powered by a low-end 1.2 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum processor with just 1 GB and 8 GB internal storage that expands to 128 GB. With these specs, occasional lags can be seen, not much to expect in the performance segment. The touch response needs some improvements, it sometimes doesn’t respond.
The good thing is the 3,000 mAh battery with fast charging technology, this certainly tells us that it won’t run out of the battery quickly. Running on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow, it is upgradeable to Android N once the company releases the update. Moving to the cameras, there are two 5 MP cameras, one on the rear side and one on the front. The rear camera supports LED flash.
The power button and the volume key are given on the left side of the device. The bottom has a Micro USB and a 3.5 mm port for earphones. That’s all on the sides, to insert the SIM cards, the back cover opens and you can find the SIM slots. The battery can be removed as well.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. As the storage can be expanded via MicroSD, the 8 GB internal storage may sound insufficient, the actual free storage is around 4.7 GB
