Reliance Jio has launched the JioTag 2, the successor to the original JioTag introduced in 2023. The new Bluetooth tracker is designed to help users locate personal belongings such as keys, wallets, luggage, backpacks and other valuables. A key highlight of the JioTag 2 is its cross-platform compatibility, allowing it to work natively with both Apple Find My and Google Find Hub, making it suitable for both iPhone and Android users.
Apple Find My & Google Find Hub Support
Unlike many Bluetooth trackers that are limited to a single ecosystem, the JioTag 2 supports both major smartphone platforms.
Users can pair the tracker with:
- Apple Find My on iPhone and iPad
- Google Find Hub on Android smartphones
This allows users to track and locate their belongings directly through the built-in location services on their devices.
The JioTag 2 is designed for attaching to items such as:

The compact design includes an integrated loop for easy attachment.
Loud Buzzer & Community-Based Finding
To help locate nearby items, the JioTag 2 includes a 120 dB built-in buzzer that can be activated from the paired app.
When an item is outside Bluetooth range, the tracker uses the Apple Find My and Google Find Hub community networks, allowing nearby compatible devices to securely update the item’s location.
Because it operates using Bluetooth tracking networks, the device does not require a SIM card or mobile data plan.
The JioTag 2 carries an IP64 dust and water resistance rating and comes in Black, Green, and Red color options.
Reliance Jio says the tracker offers up to 1 year of battery life on a replaceable battery, and an additional battery is included in the retail package, providing up to 2 years of total usage before users need to purchase a replacement battery.
