While Xiaomi is said to have blasted the Indian smartphone market with their ultra-low priced smartphones, Lenovo plans on fighting in the market.

Lenovo Vibe Z Review 9

According to sources, Lenovo is planning on upping the competition in India by launching the most affordable 4G smartphone in the market. The company is expected to launch the handset in India just a week after the CES. Interestingly, the device is said to be priced even below the Xiaomi Redmi 1S, which means a sub Rs. 6000 price point.

The upcoming affordable Lenovo smartphone with 4G LTE connectivity is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor along with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory. Also expected is an 8 MP and a 2 MP front facing camera. With the upcoming 4G revolution in India, an ultra-affordable smartphone could be a killer.
