LG Gx with 5.5 inch display and Snapdragon 600 processor announced

Days after the first rumours of the LG Gx surfacing, the company has officially announced the device which adds an interesting twist to the premium G series.

The LG Gx has the usual design with strikingly thin bezels around the display. The device has a 5.5 inch full HD display. While the G series was said to feature the Snapdragon 800 processor, this device is powered by a 1.7 GHz quad core Snapdragon 600 processor along with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.

The LG Gx is equipped with a 13 MP auto focus rear facing camera with LED flash and 1080p video recording capability. There is also a front facing 2.1 MP camera. The device, with support for LTE, runs on the Android v4.2 with a massive 3140 mAh battery. The newly introduced Smart Day feature offers weather, daily schedules and more on the lock screen at a glance.
