LG Ray with 5.5 inch HD display and 8 MP selfie camera announced

With the increasing demand for mid-range smartphone offerings, LG has now launched the LG Ray smartphone.

LG has announced the launch of the LG Ray, which is the company’s latest smartphone with a metallic design and power button and volume rockers on the back. The device has a 5.5 inch On-Cell IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.4 GHz octa core MediaTek processor with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.

The LG Ray has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 8 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Lollipop version with a massive 3000 mAh battery. The phone has dual SIM connectivity with 3G support. The handset is priced at $228 (approx. Rs. 15000) and is available in Silver, Gold and Titan Black colour options.
