The LG X Series was introduced last month, and now, LG is all set to start its global rollout this week. The LG X Series consists of LG X Cam and LG X Screen smartphones.
The LG X series smartphones are aimed at the mass and bring with them features which were only available on LG’s flagship smartphones till now. The LG X Cam and X Screen will be first made available in South Korea which will then be followed by global roll out including Europe, Latin America and Asia.
“What’s appealing about the X screen and X cam is that each offers one great feature in a complete package that doesn’t break the bank. Starting with the X series, we’re introducing the best in camera and display technology in a mass-tier device, something that has never been done before.” said Juno Cho, President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company.
These X series smartphones come with features like Dual Camera or the Second Screen. The X Cam features a 13 MP standard angle lens and a 5 MP wide angle lens at the back which delivers field of view similar to that of a human eye.
Talking about the X Screen, it comes with a feature called Second Screen which was first seen on LG’s V10. It also comes with Always-On Display so that you don’t have to wake up the phone whenever you want to check your notifications or see date or time.
