Logitech has announced the Logitech Mobi Fold and Logitech Mobi Fold for Business, its first ultra-portable foldable mouse designed for professionals who frequently work from airports, cafes, hotels, co-working spaces, and other mobile environments. The new mouse aims to address what Logitech describes as the “on-the-go productivity gap,” where many users prefer using a mouse but avoid carrying one due to portability concerns.
According to Logitech, while 72% of professionals own a mouse, only 26% regularly use one in public spaces, largely because traditional mouse designs are not optimized for travel-heavy workflows. The Mobi Fold addresses this challenge with a foldable design that transforms from a compact travel form into a full-sized mouse with a single motion.
One of the key highlights of the Mobi Fold is its automatic power management. The mouse powers on instantly when unfolded and powers off automatically when folded, eliminating the need for manual switching and allowing users to transition quickly between travel and work modes.
For navigation, Logitech has equipped the device with Adaptive Touch Scrolling, enabling users to switch between precise scrolling for documents and spreadsheets and faster scrolling for longer web pages or content feeds. Quiet-click technology also makes the mouse suitable for shared workspaces, libraries, meeting rooms, and cafes.
The Logitech Mobi Fold is available in Graphite, Lilac, and Off-White color options, while the Business version is offered through authorized enterprise channels.
The Mobi Fold supports connectivity with up to three devices simultaneously via Bluetooth, allowing users to switch between devices with a dedicated button. It is compatible with Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Android, iPadOS, and Linux systems, while also becoming the first Logitech input device to receive Google’s Fast Pair certification for quicker pairing on supported Android devices.
Durability has been a major focus during development. Logitech says the mouse has been drop-tested and features a dust-resistant silicone exterior. The internal folding hinge is rated to withstand up to 15 years of daily folding and unfolding, ensuring long-term reliability for mobile professionals.
Battery life is another strong point. Logitech claims that a one-minute charge can deliver up to 22 hours of usage, while a full charge provides up to 30 days of battery life. The company also includes a two-year limited hardware warranty with the device.
The Mobi Fold for Business variant adds support for the Logi Bolt USB Type-C receiver, providing secure wireless connectivity tailored for enterprise deployments. It also supports Logi Sync for centralized IT monitoring and device management.
From a sustainability perspective, Logitech says the Graphite version uses up to 36% post-consumer recycled plastic, alongside recycled rare-earth magnets and FSC-certified packaging materials.
