The MX Keypad is positioned as a dedicated physical control center for developers working across AI coding agents and development environments, with customizable keys, GitHub integration, support for multiple AI tools and access to custom integrations through the Logi Actions SDK.
The MX Keypad supports major coding platforms and can be used to execute prompt macros, refactor code and launch commands across GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, VS Code and IntelliJ IDEA. Logitech says the device is designed to help developers manage increasingly complex AI-assisted coding workflows from a single physical control center.
Customizable Controls Across Multiple Apps
The Logitech MX Keypad is designed around extensive customization, with any key configurable to control one or multiple apps and agents. This allows developers to assign frequently used commands, prompts and workflows to physical keys based on their individual requirements.
The device includes plugins created and tested by developers for GitHub Copilot and Claude Code, while Logitech says its cross-app compatibility allows developers to unify AI workflows and development tools across their stack.
GitHub Partnership & Copilot Integration
Logitech has developed the MX Keypad in close collaboration with GitHub. It will launch with native GitHub integration, including support for VS Code and the GitHub Copilot app, with Logitech planning to expand functionality across additional tools over time.
Every MX Keypad also includes three free months of GitHub Copilot Pro+, which can be redeemed through Logi Options+ by both new and existing users.
Logi Actions SDK For Custom Integrations
The Logitech MX Keypad supports the Logi Actions SDK, which allows software engineers to build custom tools and integrations. Logitech says its AI-friendly documentation enables coding agents to generate custom integrations directly from the SDK.
The Logitech developer community has already published plugins for Claude Code and OpenAI Codex to the Logi Marketplace. These plugins provide features such as real-time agent status tracking and CLI control through the physical keys.
The MX Keypad uses certified post-consumer recycled plastic. The Graphite model contains 64% post-consumer recycled plastic, while its packaging uses paper sourced from FSC-certified forests and other controlled sources.
The Logitech MX Keypad is priced at ₹15,999 and will be available on Logitech.com/en-in and Amazon.in.
